FAQ

Q: Do you offer a free, no obligation quotation?

A: Yes. Once we’ve discussed and agreed the work you require, a quote will be provided.  In some instances a budget estimate will be provided before quotation stage to assist you with confirming the specification for the work. Please note: if you don’t yet own the property then a charge is payable.

Q: Do you take jobs from start to completion?

A: Yes, right through from demolition to decorating.

Q: Are you able to offer advice on handling our planning application with the council?

A: Yes. Greg has great relationships with the Warwickshire Council and often seeks advice from both planning and building regulations to ensure his builds are fully compliant.

Q: Can you source all materials and project manage the full job?

A: Yes. All materials required for the job are included in the quote (unless expressly stated) and the work is fully project managed by Greg to the highest standard.

Q: Is there a waiting list for work to be started?

A: This depends on your requirements and our current commitments.  Timings are usually discussed at quotation stage, if you have a specific timing requirement please mention it.

Q: Can I change my plans during construction?

A: Greg prides himself on being very adaptable to be able to change or tweak plans as new or better ways come to light during the build.  Of course there may be an impact to cost, timing or both as a result of these changes but they will be discussed and agreed upfront.

Q: Are your plumbers Gas Safe registered and your Electricians Part P registered?

A: Yes, all plumbers and electricians used by Austbuild are registered.

Q: We are looking at purchasing a property and would like an estimate for work to the property. Is this service free?

A: No. If you own the property we are happy to offer free quotation. Otherwise, a one off fee of £50.00 per estimate or quote applies. If you do end up purchasing the property and go ahead with the work then this charge is deducted from that job.

Q: How long are quotations valid for?

A: Usually for three months. Please ask if you require a longer price guarantee.
