JAZZ BAND

*The Audubon High School Jazz Band is open to student musicians in grades 9-12, with JH students added by invitation only.

*The jazz band season runs from January to May, with rehearsals usually once or twice a week during afternoon or evening.

*Students who play saxophone, trombone, trumpet, drum set, electric bass and guitar, and piano are encouraged to join. Some music reading experience is necessary, especially on the rhythm section instruments such as guitar, bass, drums and piano. Students who play the woodwind and brass instruments are expected to be members of the SH and JH concert band each year.

*Information concerning Jazz Band will be posted here as well as on the band bulletin board in early January.

The Jazz Band performs at the Annual Pops Concert, along with other possible local performances in and around the Audubon School District.
