Chorus

Chorus at AMS is open to all 7th and 8th grade students, regardless of prior experience or participation.  Chorus will meet every day during Flex for 8th graders and some 7th graders with different schedules.  The majority of 7th graders who are in chorus have it on Maroon day during 3rd period.  It is a YEAR LONG class.  Chorus members will be given instruction in choral technique, sight reading (Solfege), be able to audition for District II Honors Chorus, and work on music selections for the choral concerts which are held twice a year.  In addition, choral students perform in the All City Concert once a year.
