Projects
CSI for Computer Science Education: there are several sub projects centered around this topic. We focus on researching how students learning programming. We look at novices seeking for programming-related information behaviors; learners behaviors in online programming discussion forums; learners' social interactions; adaptive technology support; automated analysis on large scale learning resources etc.
Visualizations: among all computing and learning technologies developed in CSI Lab, one of which is to capitalize visualization effects. We study the effectiveness and application of visualizations; automated analyzer of data visualizations; design innovative visual analytics etc.
