Precision Analytical Laboratories

Precision Analytical Labs sponsors a $100 award for the top project in Microbiology.

The Kummer Center for STEM Education is awarding two summer camp experiences to junior students at the WCRSF.

Jackling Introduction to Engineering Camp

During Jackling Introduction to Engineering, you'll be introduced to a variety of engineering fields with demonstrations and activities related to each discipline. You will learn about what engineers do, what tools they use and how the various engineering fields affect everyday life. Engineering and science groups will present brief overviews of their areas of focus and the exciting technological challenges on which their graduates work. Choose from a suite of activities each afternoon that will include interactive workshops and problems that may include software development, aerospace testing and problem-solving, exploration of state-of-the-art engineering materials breakthroughs, and the process of product development and testing. You will spend your summer camp mornings learning about engineering disciplines from leaders in their fields while rubbing shoulders with some of the brightest students in the nation. You’ll gain practical engineering experience during lab and department visits in the afternoon, and test your skills in friendly student competitions during the evening.

Cyber Miner Camp

Missouri S&T, Missouri's premier technological university, boasts the nation's second-oldest accredited Computer Science program, an innovative IST program and terrific Computer and Electrical Engineering departments. CyberMiner Camp is a perfect way to explore these majors, learn about Missouri S&T and college life, AND make new friends who share your interests! CyberMiner campers will enjoy hands-on computing in a variety of fields, including the following: Computer Engineering—designed to prepare engineers to work in the abstract world of software design and engineering and in the physical world where designs are often compromises between many opposing factors. Computer Science—a dynamic field that includes development of algorithms (techniques for solving problems with computers), software development, and hardware/software implementations. Information Science and Technology—an innovative program that integrates information technology with business administration and management systems.

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, is Arkansas’ only academic cancer treatment and research facility. The institute’s staff of doctors, nurses, researchers and other health care professionals is dedicated to improving cancer care for the people of Arkansas and beyond. The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (WPRCI) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) special award recognizes a student or team of students who demonstrate outstanding cancer research and/or cancer-related science. The WPRCI sponsors a certificate of recognition for outstanding research, a UAMS WPRCI tote bag with various WPRCI gifts, and a gift certificate to Walmart in the amount of $100. An additional award for a runner-up will include a certificate of recognition for outstanding research and a UAMS WRPCI tote bag with Cancer Institute gifts, and a gift certificate to Walmart in the amount of $50. Judging will be based on relevance to the cancer field, thoroughness, clarity, scientific thought, and creativity.

Magic Springs Theme and Water Park is supporting the fair by sponsoring a special award for an outstanding project with relavance to the Hot Springs area or community. The selected student will receive a 2023 season pass to Magic Springs.

We would be happy to add you or your organization to this page and mention your support during the awards ceremony. You can also attend the ceremony to hand out the prizes for your sponsored category. Contributions made to the ASMSA Foundation in support of the fair are tax deductible.
