Week of March 30th

1. Read this eBook about Sound: www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/atoms/files/astro-not-yets_explore_sound_storybook.pdf

2. Explore sounds and vibrations by making a string phone. If you don't have cups or string at home, improvise. Click on the video for directions.

3. I would love to see your string phone! With an adult's permission, record a video of your string phone on Flipgrid. See below for directions on how to use Flipgrid.

Flipgrid is a video sharing website specifically for schools. Students can record short videos of themselves and respond to their classmates' videos. To share something you learned go to: https://flipgrid.com/ashfordscienceathome. The password is Ashfordscience.

2. Follow along with this video to make your own insect.

Week of May 4th

1. Watch this video about growing plants.

Note: If you would like to grow your own plants, I have left packets of seeds with the main office. You are welcome to pick up a packet of seeds during the packet pick up times.
