If a day doesn't work for you, please email me.
Each kid has been assigned two days; one for a book talk presentation and another for a current event presentation. Both of these have been modeled by me. The expectation is that kids fill out and do the paperwork for each project and turn it in on their presentation day. When it is their day to present they will stand in front of the class and tell about their project. Kids are welcome to use their paperwork as a guide. If they are interested in doing more, they can create notecards, a powerpoint, or have a prepared poster with information.
When kids present their project we will practice eye contact, speaking loudly and clearly, and body language. Our audience will also practice tracking the speaker, making eye contact, and being active listeners.
