AKCIS

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education, in partnership with the Alaska 

Department of Labor and workforce Development, makes AKCIS available to all 

Alaskan residents through your school or other local community organization free of 

charge. AKCIS gives you the tools to plan a successful future.

STEP 1: Navigate to the AKCIS Homepage

 https://acpe.alaska.gov/STUDENT-PARENT/College_Career/AKCIS

STEP 2: Log-in using East High's School Account

Account: EASTHS

PASSWORD: 4Student

Step 3: After logging in, Click "Create my Portfolio."

Step 4: Select "Create New User."

Step 5: Register Your Portfolio, Using Your Information! (Joe Example, is just an example!)

Step 6: Congratulations! You now have your own exclusive account for AKCIS. This account will save all of your information, and progress within AKCIS! Save this account login and password somewhere secure, so you don't forget it. Use AKCIS to create resume, search for careers, search for colleges, and search for scholarships (under the Financial Aid sort).
