Preschool Goals

Our school is designed to be a developmentally appropriate program for children who are 3-5 years of age. We have designed this program to help your child achieve the following important goals:

· To develop language skills and fluency

· To learn relationships between sounds and letters, counting and number words

· To develop thinking skills, such as comprehension, memory, decision making, problem solving, following directions, and creativity

· To develop coordination of eyes with hands and skill in using small muscles

· To develop concepts about sounds, words, letters and how books are organized

· To use all senses in exploring the environment

· To feel successful everyday

· To develop social skills

· To work with each child’s strength’s, interests, and needs

· To develop an understanding of God’s love

This program has been built on a foundation of research about how young children learn. We know that you will enjoy watching your child achieve the goals of this program, and we look forward to working with both you and your child.
