Arlington Families Hosting International Students

If you live in Arlington and wish to host a family member or friend from another country, you may apply directly to Arlington High School. Students may choose to attend AHS for one semester or one year. The student must be living with you in Arlington during their time at Arlington High School.

The following documents should be submitted with the application. They can be sent as attachments on an email. (send to jduffy@arlington.k12.ma.us)

                * Birth Certificate

                * Copy of Passport 

                * Official results of your English Language Exams

                * High School Transcripts from last three years of school

                * Letters of Recommendation from two high school teachers you have had.

                * A letter of introduction from student

                * A letter of introduction from student's parents

                * Medical Records

                * Host Family Contact Information, description of relationship with the host family and list of all members and ages of household.

                 *Photographs  

                   Please send at least 4 photographs of you with a short description of

                   the photo.  You can include family and friends as well as you doing your favorite 

                   activities.
