I'm sickened to hear there was another mass shooting this afternoon. This time in San Bernadino, California. We have become all too accustomed to mass shootings in the United States. In 2012 Mother Jones published "A Guide to Mass Shootings" which has an interactive map of public mass shootings. Unfortunately it has been updated many times since then.
Looking over my "Other stuff" I have posted, most if it is about negative events. I promise I'll post something positive in the future. There are many beautiful and magnificent things happening right this second. And this second. And this second. And this second! Every day I am reminded of the capacity humans have for playfulness, concern, compassion and empathy. Thank you for reminding me of this. For now, be safe and act out of love, not hate or indifference, toward others. Your presence matters.
