Did you know that some of the best information on the Internet can’t be found on Google? Librarians call them “proprietary databases,” but you know them as e-books, digital magazines, online encyclopedias, etc. If you need the login information for home use, just come to the library to get the passwords.
This resource is provided by Portland Public Schools and is a multimedia version of the print encyclopedia. There are different interfaces for various grade levels.

This is another large collection of resources provided by Multnomah County, so you’ll need a library card from them. Besides the databases, they also provide live help from research librarians.
