The Curriculum Committee is a committee of the Academic Senate. We review and make recommendations on all proposals to add, delete, or revise courses and programs, guided by policies and requirements set by the State, District, and College, including those regarding transfer, CTE, general education, and DEI/IDEAA. The Committee commits itself to College’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
ARC’s Curriculum Committee has dedicated itself to centering cultural humility into our practices. To accomplish this, we hope to advocate for faculty and staff populations to reflect student populations, starting with our own committee. As part of this work, we are developing an intentional review of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility into our existing processes. We are also seeking feedback on making our review practices more transparent, accessible, and humanized.

not to create new courses and programs unless due to grant requirements, apprenticeship agreements, and/or statutory/external accreditation, or to meet CalGETC or local GE standards;
