Practice Schedule for the Week of December 8th

Monday 3:10 - 5 PM:

Skiing at Cedarholm and waxing. Skiers, you have the choice to classic ski instead of skate! Our race on Tuesday is skate, and the one on Thursday is classic. We already have some skate skiing under our belt from last week, so classic skiing would be a good idea!

Tuesday 3:10 - 5:30 PM:

Race day at Les Bolstad Golf Course (U of M)! Notice the venue change! Elm Creek had a. delay in their snow-making and trail grooming, so our race has gotten moved to a much closer venue!

Middle schoolers are dismissed from class at 2:00, while high schoolers can leave class at 2:10. The bus will stop at RAMS at 2:10, please don't miss it! We wish to leave the high school no later than 2:50.

Boys 5km (2x2.5km loop): 3:40 PM

Boys 2.5km (2.5km loop): 3:55 PM

Girls 5km (2x2.5km loop): 4:10 PM

Girls 2.5km (2.5km loop): 4:25 PM

Wednesday 3:10 - 5 PM:

Skiing at Cedarholm and waxing. The entire team will classic ski today. We will do some waxing to get ahead of schedule for Thursday's race.

Come on Over SugarBush will be at practice from 3:10-3:30 to show us some maple candy samples, so don't be late!!!

Thursday 3:10 - 5:30 PM:

Race day at Irondale High School! 

Check the parent support sign-up genius (scroll down on this page below the race schedule for the link) for needs and help if you can! 

Middle schoolers are dismissed from class at 1:50, while high schoolers can leave class at 2:00. The bus will stop at RAMS at 2:00, please don't miss it! We wish to leave the high school no later than 2:30 if we can help it.

Friday 3:10 - 4:30 PM

After a week of racing, we will have some skiing and games on skis!

Parent support at race events: 

We need parent support! There are several different ways to support our teams on race day, with some sign-ups for pre-race, some for during race, and some for after race. 

Follow this link to the sign-up genius so we can coordinate parent support for upcoming races!

Carbo Load Events: 

There are plans to have a carbo-load after practice (think team dinner) on the following days (not on team calendar):

• Mon 12/15

• Mon 1/5

• Tues 1/27

• Wed 2/4

These will be at RAHS in the Lower Commons area. Please contribute if you can -- you do not need to stay the whole time. Follow this link to sign-up for food to bring, etc.
