Ball Chair Rules -- Zero tolerance
If these rules are not followed the ball will be taken away for a period of time to be determined by the teacher.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I bring a ball from home?
Yes you can. There is a risk that it will get popped or written on, and the school will not replace your ball if something happens to it. You are responsible for getting it to school and back home at the end of the year. You will be expected to let others sit on it when students switch classrooms.
What happens if a ball pops?
If the above rules are broken and a ball pops then the student loses the ball chair for a period of time and a guardian may be asked to replace the chair. We make every attempt to be reasonable if there is an accident with a ball chair.
How does the sharing of balls work?
You can expect to share the ball chair with one other student. It is your responsibility to keep track of whose turn it is and settle arguments fairly. When your partner is absent, you may use the ball even if it is not your turn.
