Temple Degree Initiations

Dear Fratres and Sorores, 

Kairi Lodge confers Temple Degree Initiations typically on the 4th Sunday of each month. 

The Temple Degree Initiation cycle begins each April with the very special First Temple Degree Initiation, which is conferred in two parts across two days. Each successive Initiation is conferred in sequence, one each month. 

Please pay special attention to the Initiation dates in R+C 3377 especially June, September and December where Seasonal Rituals fall on that weekend. 

Temple Degree Initiations are open to all active AMORC members. On reaching the first monograph of each new Degree in your studies, you are eligible for the Initiation into that Degree. Temple Degree Initiations are conferred on candidates sequentially, as each Initiation builds upon the previous Initiations. Each Initiation should be taken only once, beginning with the First Temple Degree Initiation. 

Candidates:

On the Temple Degree Initiation day, candidates are asked to arrive at Kairi Lodge two (2) hours prior to the scheduled Initiation time to complete the registration process and attend the Temple Degree Review Forum for the previous Degree.

What to bring with you:

1. An electronic or printed copy of your AMORC Membership Statement clearly showing your Grand Lodge dues paid-through date and your current Degree level. Your statement can be found in the member portal.  

2. Your Degree Initiation Card clearly showing all Temple Degree Initiations previously conferred on you as proof of your eligibility for your desired Temple Degree Initiation. 

Temple Degree Initiations do not incur a fee; however, Grand Lodge encourages candidates to make a donation to AMRA. 

Witnesses:

Witnesses must be active AMORC members, having previously been initiated into the Temple Degree they desire to witness. Please also bring a copy of your AMORC Membership Statement and Temple Degree Initiation Card to confirm your eligibility to be a witness. 

Arrival time for witnesses is at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the Initiation.
