Here is what you need to know. A convocation calls together a large gathering of AMORC members for a formal assembly. Each AMORC convocation delves into the esoteric traditions, understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest of Western thought (Mystery Schools, etc.) The convocations are guided by the Pronaos master following the Rosicrucian tradition. Discourses are approved by AMORC Imperators and the Grand Masters of The English Grand Lodge for the Americas and Caribbean.
Some traditions explore Prehistoric Atlantis, Pythagorean school, ancient Isis Mysteries, Hermeticism, Neo-Platonism, Kabbalah, The Templars, Rosicrucianism and more. These passed down from centuries of Mystery Schools aid the application of the important truths revealed. Forums of members examine and discuss the mystical practices passed down through the ages. Harmonizing the inner and outer worlds, how to increase concentration, how to develop intuition and how to calm yourself in times of stress - are several basic applications examined across traditions. Experiments held in the Pronaos teach and perform methods for practical use in everyday life and contemplation.
Led by experienced members, convocation imparts esoteric knowledge preserved by the Rosicrucians. Connect with like-minded individuals, also on the path of self-discovery, spiritual enlightenment and mental alchemy. Novices and seasoned mystics expand comprehension and understanding of practical mysteries of the universe. They deepen their knowledge of self and connect through profound principles with Rosicrucians in Phoenix, Arizona.
Convocations include the traditional ritual which guides the participants to positive energies for healing for humanity and for the members in attendance. In addition to the light of the inspiring ritual, a discourse or an experiment presents a special philosophical or mystical principle with several points of view and guides the participant for quick use.
By taking part regularly in Convocations, the member contributes to and benefits from the humanitarian work members of the Order accomplish on the spiritual plane. One gains access to the higher dimension of the Rosicrucian Tradition. In addition to these benefits, attending Convocation meetings at Affiliated Bodies of AMORC gives members the opportunity to meet with other Rosicrucians in a fraternal setting.
The AMORC Environment. Dress in business casual. No hats please. This is not a place of worship. You are not expected to pray. In this school one learns esoteric traditions. Expect no dogma. A member of the ritual team will teach you physical aspects (movement through the Pronaos) you will need to know before you enter for the convocation.
Welcome to our Pronaos!
Tuesdays, AMORC members meet for a discussion forum on topics rarely presented in convocation. One of our members from around the country reads and presents an article or shares an archived video. Noted Rosicrucian scholars worldwide often drop in with insights during the discussion.
You are welcome to sign in up to 15 minutes before the presentation.
