Many of you have brought issues to me in the course of my campaigns, including traffic, accessibility (sidewalks), improving our park, library programs and support and, of course, dealing with development and flooding. These are just some of the issues I believe we need to address in our master plan, and if you have more ideas or problems PLEASE reach out! mattfrancis@elkins.arkansas.gov
I'm a Small Business Owner and Elkins Resident since 2007.
My goal as Council Member is to do my best to use my experience to help Elkins get the resources it needs to grow. I am working with our Mayor, Council and Directors to get resources from the county, state and federal level to put plans in place so we can create not just a city master plan, but a roadmap for economic development for the next decade. Lets work together to create the city we all want to live in.
