The "All Books Considered" book club meets monthly. We usually meet from 1:30 pm to 3:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month. We may change our meeting dates to accommodate other UWA events and for special book-related themes that have included meals, boat cruises and train rides. The location varies from local coffee shops to members’ homes. The current book selections are included each month in the UWA newsletter and a monthly email reminder is sent to members who have requested to be on the Book Group email list. There is a UWA group on Facebook where members can share comments; please contact a coordinator to be added. We read a wide variety of books, hence the book club's unofficial name. Invited speakers have included community members such as Georgine Olson from Noel Wien library. The library is a great place to procure copies. Speakers provide additional information on book genres as well as topics related to our monthly book selection. Everyone is encouraged to offer suggestions of books they are interested in reading and discussing.
For more information, contact Sue Keller or Jackie Newell.
