Objective: Students will participate in a final book club meeting, using evidence trackers to collaboratively analyze and articulate central themes.
Bell Work: If you had to describe your book as a symbol, what symbol would you choose? Why would you make this choice?
Agenda: Final Book Club Meeting: Finish evidence trackers/ analyze theme/ go over discussion questions.
Objective: Students will reflect on their book club selections by analyzing their emotional responses, making personal connections, exploring their thinking about the text, and identifying remaining questions, then use these insights to compose a final response to the unit’s essential question.
Bell Work: Rate your book out of 5 stars. Explain your rating. Then, tell me who should read this book.
