1H: I can explore the powers and operations of local government by examining a local public policy issue. (Ch 6.5 & 8.4)

Discussion Questions:

Break into groups of three, each person in the group review one of the forms of government and be prepared to explain the pros and cons of each system. Please be able to respond to the following questions;

1) Which form of city government best represents the voters? Why?

2) Which form of city government do you think would be most efficient in approving policy and passing city ordinances?

3) What challenges do local governments face?
