The Battle of the Books is a fun competition where teams of students read 25 books, and compete against other teams in a test of their book knowledge. There will be a school-wide competition in February, and the top three teams will advance to the District Battle later that month. Students read on their own, and attend monthly meetings during CORE. The kick-off meeting date will be announced in September, and students will be able to sign up then. There is no cost to join, and all books will be checked out through the school library. Many Anoka County Library locations also have our BOB books on display and readily available in hard copy or electronic form.
