Library Media Center Policies

Library services are available during school hours from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (M, T, Th, F) and 7:00 AM - 12:20 PM (W).  We are open for Chromebook issues, book checkout, puzzles, games, quiet place to work, plus so much more!!

Circulation Requirements

Books are checked out for thirty days at a time, with no more than five books checked out simultaneously.

Books will not be checked out to students owing fines or with books that are overdue.  Books may be renewed one additional time as long as no one else has a hold placed on that title.

Books that are not returned or renewed on time will be marked as lost and the replacement cost applied.  Once the book has been returned or paid for, the fine will be removed.  Notices are sent to parent and student e-mail accounts.

Lost or damaged books will be assessed a replacement cost fee.  All library books are due by the end of the year, and any and all replacement costs must be paid prior to purchasing dance tickets and parking permits, and graduation.  Replacement costs can either be paid or the book replaced with an equitable copy of the title that was lost or damaged.  The library staff can assist you with making this determination.

Books that are out-of-copyright, meaning their copyright protection has expired, are available online at Classic Reader, Bibliomania, and Bartleby.com
