Sessions and Workshops at National Meetings

Please submit you initial ideas here BEFORE our committee meetings:

it helps expedite the process.

CPTYC SESSION OR WORKSHOP SUBMISSION FORM (click).

(This link is only available for periods just BEFORE or DURING AAPT meetings. Alerts will be sent via e-mail.)

To the organizers of sessions and workshops:

1) Read about types of sessions and workshops HERE (start on page 24).

2) Although not required, see if you can find a co-sponsoring committee for your proposed session/workshop. How to do that? One way is to visit possible co-sponsors during their committee meeting, or talk/send e-mail to a member or chair of a committee.

3) When you become an organizer, please be aware of the schedule and deadlines for sessions and workshops. There are several steps to be completed between the submission of your ideas, and the actual meeting one year later. Please pay attention to e-mails from the chair/vice-chair of our committee, as well as AAPT e-mails, and reply or follow their instructions as soon as possible.
