About Us

Dan began performing when he was just seven years old with a discarded magic set from his older brother.  He soon discovered the joy of entertaining and using magic to teach and create stories.

As teachers, Dan and Kim were looking for a way to share these stories with their kids, and so the Dan Dan the Magic Man summer reading programs were born.  In 2001, we began with just 3 area libraries. Now, we load up the kids and travel to up to 35 libraries a year spreading the love of reading with magic.  Have rabbit!  Will travel!
