Carnage Magnet Middle School
Welcome to Piano Lab at Carnage Magnet Middle School, a GT/AIG Basics Magnet Middle School in Raleigh offering a variety of courses supporting the diverse gifts and talents of our students. Students interested in the Arts at Carnage have the opportunity to take courses in visual art, dance, theatre, chorus, band, orchestra, guitar, and piano.
Carnage offers a sequential piano program accommodating all skill levels including beginning, intermediate, and advanced piano. Students will learn about the fundamentals of playing the piano through the study of performance technique, music literacy, and music theory. Students in the quarter-long Beginning Piano course will participate in a Virtual Recital at the end of each quarter. Students in Piano II and Piano III will present an In-Person Recital at the end of each semester.

Recitals will take place in the auditorium. Please plan to join us for an enjoyable evening of music!
