Working in the administrative, fiscal and operational side, "full-circle", of public health education it has gifted me with a rewarding experience that not many get to come across yet I have been blessed to encounter.
My services have involved working through Family Resource Centers directly with children as a "family advocate", then directly with parents as a "home visitor" then directly with agency's as an "executive director" this 360 degree has given me the advantage of knowing what the front-line staff needs are to provide quality programs to our communities as well as seeing the gaps in communities with fellow executive-level colleagues and working together with all sectors to fill the gaps with partnerships while running a nonprofit agency and all of its departmental components.
Before going into the areas of public service, I was studying and gaining experience in Accounting and Business Management, which has helped me tremendously in the management aspects of running the nonprofit.
I believe that through my diverse employment experience in Fiscal and Operations, with my education of a Bachelors Degree in Management my Associate in Science Degree for Accounting, and Associate in Arts Degree for General Studies. Plus my certification as a Transdisciplinary Infant Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner endorsement I would make a great asset to any organization. Not to mention I have an immense drive to apply my knowledge and learn new information.
