Behind every event, fundraiser, volunteer signup, and little moment of magic is a team of parents and caregivers who care deeply about our schools, students, staff, and community.
Our PTA Executive Board and committee chairs work together to support enrichment opportunities, strengthen school connections, and create meaningful experiences for our families throughout the year. From organizing events and supporting teachers to fundraising and building community spirit, we are proud to serve both the Hollis Primary School and the Hollis Upper Elementary School.
We believe the PTA is at its best when everyone feels welcome, valued, and encouraged to get involved — whether that means leading a committee, volunteering at an event, or simply cheering us on from the sidelines.
We’re so excited to introduce the team helping make this school year possible!
Michelle Lawler
President
Hi! My name is Michelle Lawler and I am a proud Hollis parent and dedicated volunteer who has served on the Hollis PTA Board for the past four years. I am passionate about fostering a strong sense of community and supporting programs, events, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience for all students.
I believe that the PTA’s greatest strength is bringing families, teachers, staff, and community partners together to create meaningful opportunities for children.
Outside of the PTA, I enjoy spending time with my family. Whether I am at the hockey rink cheering on our son, attending school events, or spending time with family and friends, I love being actively involved in the community
I am honored to continue serving the Hollis elementary schools and look forward to another year of collaboration, connection, and supporting students and staff.
Beth Tavano

My name is Beth Tavano and I’m honored to serve as your Vice President. I am a 13 year resident of Hollis along with my husband and son. We love our community and our schools, and are committed to making a difference wherever we can!

Treasurer

I moved to Hollis roughly five years ago with my better half, two daughters (7 and 9) along with my in-laws, creating a multi-generational home. I am a software designer for a financial services company. I have been continually inspired by the commitment of the PTA, HPS staff, and all the volunteers that make everything go. Therefore, I would help to help contribute to what has already beem built.
Danielle Kilgour
Secretary
Hi! My name is Danielle Kilgour, my husband and I moved to Hollis in 2019. We have 2 children, both at Hollis Primary School. I work as the Head of Client Success for a family-care website. Our family loves to participate in town events like Old Home Days, sports teams and other special traditions in our community. I am very passionate about our school community and connecting with other families and educators who enrich our children's lives.

Mandy Hoffman
Volunteer Coordinator
My name is Mandy, and as a proud parent with kids in both Hollis and the Co-op, I believe the magic of a great school community happens in the margins — in the volunteers who quietly show up, the families who pitch in, and the small moments that make children feel seen and supported.
As Volunteer Coordinator, my goal is simple: make it easy and meaningful for every family to find their place here. Whether you have five minutes or five hours, there is a role for you.
I bring a background in facilitation, training, and people-centered leadership — and an equal enthusiasm for strengthening our community through our local school culture.
When I am not excavating a forgotten lunch box from the bottom of someone’s backpack, you can find me making music, dancing in the kitchen, walking a trail, or dreaming up our next family adventure somewhere new on the map.
Our community is not just where we live — it is how we live. I am so glad to be in this work alongside you.
Charlotte Kimmons
Fundraising Coordinator
Hi! My name is Charlotte Kimmons. My family and I moved to Hollis in 2024. I’m originally from England, but America has been my home since 2011. My background is in dance and fitness, which I continue to pursue and am very passionate about.
I absolutely love our school and community, and I want to help give our students and staff the support they deserve. I’m excited to step into the Fundraising Chair position and look forward to all the opportunities ahead. Together, I’m hopeful we can enrich our school and community through our collective efforts!
Emily Busby
Membership & Logistics Chair
Since moving to our wonderful town in 2021 with my husband, right before welcoming our first daughter, we have completely fallen in love with this vibrant, supportive community. Now as a mom of two young girls, I am more invested than ever in ensuring our schools continue to be a place where every child can thrive, learn, and grow.
Professionally, I work in the consulting industry, manage a small business, and am a published children’s book author. Balancing these roles has given me a deep appreciation for organization, creative collaboration, and the power of bringing people together—skills I am excited to channel into supporting our students, teachers, and staff. I truly believe that when families and schools partner together, we create an enriched, joyful environment for our kids.
When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me enjoying quality time with my family, brainstorming my next creative project, or enjoying the outdoors with my girls.
Megan Rhynehart
Room Parent Chair
Hello! I’m Megan Rhynehart, a mom of three boys, and I’m excited to serve as the PTA’s Room Parent Chair. I look forward to helping connect more parents with opportunities to support our school, our teachers, and the wonderful community that makes it all possible. I have a background in finance, and outside of work family is everything to me!
All parents, teachers, and community members interested in the Hollis Elementary Schools' educational programs or activities are welcome! General Membership Meetings of the Hollis Elementary PTA are held each month.
It is a wonderful opportunity for you to gain information about what's happening in your child's school and share your ideas, comments, issues, and suggestions for future activities, events, and directions.
