I moved to Hollis roughly two years ago with my better half, two daughters (4 and 6) along with my in-laws, creating a multi-generational home. I am a software designer for a financial services company. I have been continually inspired by the commitment of the PTA, HPS staff, and all the volunteers that make everything go. Therefore, I would help to help contribute to what has already beem built.
Danyell Fairburn
Volunteer Coordinator
I went to Daniel Webster College to study aviation. After graduating, I became an air traffic controller at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. I was an activist within the air traffic community and was on the National Historical Committee, the Regional Communications Team and a District Chair for Professional Standards Program for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association.
I decided to resign a few years back from air traffic control to stay home and be more involved with my two small children. I have since become a board member for Women in Aviation - Boston Chapter group and still enjoy flying with my family on our small plane.
I am excited to be apart of the PTA and looks forward to seeing what we can do as a team.
