U.S. Islands

Hawaii, USA

  • We are excited to welcome domestic (US citizen) travelers back to the Hawaiian Islands with a pre-test or vaccine.

  • Beginning November 24, 2020, a pre-travel testing option will allow travelers an alternative to Hawaii’s mandatory 10-day quarantine. The state of Hawaii will ONLY accept test results from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners (view the list here). Travelers must have a negative test result prior to arriving to the Hawaiian Islands.

  • The mandatory 10-day travel quarantine will remain in place. People who are required to self-quarantine for 10 days because of not providing an approved pre-test must designate a hotel or motel as their designated quarantine location. No person who is subject to the mandatory self-quarantine is allowed to stay in a short-term or vacation rental.

  • Hawaii continues with the state's Safe Travels pre-travel testing program, even for fully vaccinated travelers.

Puerto Rico

  • Vaccinated passengers arriving on domestic flights are required to show a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) result taken 48 hours before arrival time. Unvaccinated passengers arriving on domestic flights are required to show a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) result taken 48 hours before arrival time.

  • Passengers arriving without a test will have 48 hours to take one upon arrival or be subject to a fine. If arriving without a test, they must upload either a PCR molecular or antigen COVID-19 test taken on Island within 48 hours of arrival or receive a fine.

  • Required to upload an official Vaccination Card through the Travel Declaration Form portal.


  • All unvaccinated travelers must quarantine for seven days after arriving on Island.

  • Face coverings are mandatory while indoors, or individuals will be subject to a fine.

  • Those attending mass events (both indoors and outdoors taking place at theaters, amphitheaters, coliseums, stadiums, and convention centers) will be required to present proof of vaccination with an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine and also a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) taken in the 48 hours prior to the event.

  • All establishments serving food or drinks must require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) taken 48 hours prior to arrival.

  • All passengers arriving on domestic flights are required to show a negative COVID-19 test (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) result taken within 48 hours before arrival time, regardless of vaccination status. Passengers arriving without a test will have 48 hours to take one upon arrival or be subject to a fine. Unvaccinated travelers must quarantine for 7 days after arriving, regardless of whether they have a negative test result.

  • Until January 31st, 2022, those between 5 and 11 years old will be allowed to attend large indoor events by providing negative COVID-19 test results (either antigen or PCR performed by an authorized health provider) taken no more than 48 hours prior to the event. Starting February 1, 2022, this age range will be subject to the same guidelines as adults, requiring proof of vaccination and negative test results taken within 48 hours prior to the event upon entry. Children under 5 years of age will not be allowed to attend large-scale events, even with negative results, except when permitted by the Department of Health.

  • Until February 2nd, 2022, all restaurants, bars, theaters, stadiums, coliseums, convention centers, casinos, and any establishment that serves prepared food or drinks will limit capacity to 50% for indoor events/operations, and 75% for outdoor events/operations. All events, both indoor and outdoor, will have a maximum capacity of 250 people as long as that number is equal to or lower than their 50% capacity (if indoors) or 75% (if outdoors). Events of over 250 people will need authorization from the Department of Health, which will determine the protocols required for each case.

  • Until February 2nd 2022, all business will close between midnight and 5 AM. This restriction will not affect health services, including testing sites, laboratories, and pharmacies. Until February 2nd 2022, alcohol sale is also prohibited between midnight and 5 AM.

US Virgin Islands

  • Effective September 19, 2020, all travelers aged 5 or older is required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal to submit a COVID-19 test result within 5 days of travel and receive a clearance certification prior to traveling to the USVI.

  • Travelers unable to produce the required test result will be subject to quarantine for 14 days or until they are able to receive the required test result while on the island, regardless of vaccination status. View important details.

Aruba

  • Since March 19th, travelers are no longer required to present a COVID-19 negative test result or proof of vaccination. Some health protocols still apply.

Bahamas

  • The health and wellbeing of all who enter or reside in The Bahamas remains the number one priority, and diligent efforts are enforced to minimize the spread of COVID-19. The following travel and entry protocols have been put in place to ensure The Bahamas is a safe and clean destination for all to enjoy. Learn more.

  • All travelers must apply for a Bahamas Health Visa at travel.gov.bs by selecting the International option and completing all required fields.

  • All incoming visitors, as well as returning citizens and residents, must show proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test, taken no more than 5 days prior to the date of arrival. All tests must be uploaded when applying for a Bahamas Health Visa, which take up to 48 hours to process.

  • As of November 14, 2020, all international visitors are required to opt in to the mandatory COVID-19 health insurance when applying for their Bahamas Travel Health Visa. The insurance will cover travelers for the duration of their stay in the Bahamas. A fee for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa will be dependent on the length of stay (ranging from $40-$70 USD) and includes expenses for COVID Health Insurance and rapid antigen testing as appropriate. Children age 10 and under will be covered at no extra charge and are exempt from taking a rapid antigen test.

Dominican Republic

  • Aligning with the launch of the Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan on September 15th, travelers no longer need to provide a negative PCR or COVID-19 test upon arrival. Instead, airports and other ports of entry will administer a quick, aleatory breath test to between 3% and 10% of passengers, and all those who present symptoms, upon arrival. Passengers under the age of 5 are exempt from this procedure. All passengers will also need to perform a temperature check. Passengers who present symptoms or whose test results are positive will be isolated and attended at authorized locations. Prior to departure, travelers should confirm with their airline provider and airport of origin regarding any testing or other related requirements for inbound flights to the Dominican Republic, or necessary requirements needed upon arrival in their country of origin.

  • As part of the immigration and customs forms provided by the airline or by Dominican authorities, passengers will be required to fill out and submit a Traveler’s Health Affidavit. Through this form, passengers declare they have not felt any COVID-19 related symptoms in the last 72 hours and provide contact details for the next 30 days. Completion of this online form is required for entry and departure from the DR.

  • Hotels restarted operations with the use of contact-free technologies and strict protocols to offer a clean, safe environment and promote social distancing. Activities in bars and clubs remain suspended as well as national and international events and public, cultural, artistic and sports shows.

  • There is an established curfew in place Monday through Friday 10pm to 5am and Saturdays and Sundays 9pm to 12am. There is free transit available during specific times throughout the country to ensure that citizens and tourists can return to their homes or hotels. While hotel guests will not be required to follow these guidelines within their resort property, they will be limited to stay within the property during the associated hours.

  • It is mandatory to keep social distancing and wear face masks in all public spaces, such as banks, supermarkets and offices, among others.

Jamaica

  • COVID-19 molecular (PCR, NAA, RNA) or Antigen test performed by an accredited lab is required for travelers ages 12 years and older. Negative test results must be no older than 3 days from the date of arrival.

  • The Travel Authorization Form is no longer required as of March 1, 2022.

  • Failure to comply will result in denied entry.

St. Lucia

  • Effective February 5, 2021, all arriving passengers 5 years and older, regardless of vaccination status, must have a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 5 days before arriving in Saint Lucia.

  • All persons entering Saint Lucia must complete a Travel Registration Form (18 years and older) to ensure your efficient and expedited processing on arrival. Please print and travel with a copy of your registration form.

  • All persons must adhere to all safety protocols in place throughout Saint Lucia, including wearing a mask in public. All persons shall be subject to mandatory screening and temperature checks at the port of entry and throughout their stay. All persons shall be transferred by certified taxi to their approved COVID-19 approved accommodation.

Other Countries

Costa Rica

  • All international tourists are permitted to enter Costa Rica by air, land and sea.

  • Tourists must meet the visa requirements, when applicable, as well as the requirements established in the framework of the pandemic.

  • The Government of Costa Rica does not require tourists entering by air, land or sea to present a negative COVID-19 test, nor quarantine upon arrival.

  • Tourists visiting Costa Rica are requested to abide by the sanitary protocols in place when participating in tourist activities throughout the country.

Europe - EU Nations

  • The European Union and the non-EU member countries of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein began welcoming some nonessential travelers on July 1, welcoming visitors from countries, including Canada, South Korea and Australia.

  • The USA is not currently included in the approved countries listing; however individual countries may allow US travelers entry with restrictions.

United Kingdom

Mexico

  • The U.S. Department of State updated the Travel Advisory for Mexico on September 8, 2020. Reconsider travel to Mexico due to COVID-19.

  • Mexico has lifted stay at home orders in some areas and resumed some transportation and business operations.

  • Passengers and aircrew members arriving at Mexican airports may be subject to health screenings including temperature checks. Those exhibiting symptoms may be subject to additional health screening and/or quarantine.

  • A negative COVID-19 test (PCR and/or serology) is NOT required for entry.

  • Effective April 1, 2021, all international travelers visiting the state of Quintana Roo will be required to pay a new tourism tax. Travelers will pay approximately $11 USD ($224 Mexican pesos) to visit popular destinations across the state like Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Cozumel. The payment is required for all international visitors over 15 years old. Visitors can pay online before their arrival, during their stay, or upon exiting the state. There will also be an option to pay in cash at the Cancun Airport terminals. Travelers must show proof of payment at the airport prior to boarding.

US States

Las Vegas, NV

  • Currently, there are no travel restrictions on travel within the domestic U.S.

  • Casino resorts reopened June 4, 2020. Gambling, dining, and shopping along with wellness amenities including fitness centers, spa treatments, and pools at most resorts are open with some restrictions.

  • Based on the CDC recommendation of social distancing, some show rooms have temporarily closed, and concerts have been postponed in an attempt to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

  • Nevada Governor Sisolak announced April 13 that the state-wide goal is that every county will be able to fully reopen at 100% capacity by June 1. The mask mandate will stay in place.

  • Nevadans and visitors are required to wear face coverings when they are in public, with limited exceptions. All of the destination’s resorts have put together a thorough health and safety plan based on the advice of health and government officials.
