How fast do you think this elevator travels? 

Watch this video to help you consider many problems coming up in unit 3. Unit 3 is all about unit rates. Unit rate mean the amount for 1. For example, in one hour how many miles should we travel on East Amazon? The sign says 30 miles for one hour or 30 MPH. Here's another example: If I were to by 4 2-liter bottles of Sprite for $5.00, how much for one bottle? That's right, you'd divide 5 dollars by 4 bottles and get $1.25 per bottle. You could check that by adding $1.25 a total of 4 times.
