Theatre@41 has two intercom (comms) circuits.
Circuit A is used for the technicians to communicate with each other and with FOH
Circuit B is only used to drive the show relay system (dressing room speakers)
Any external comms pack on circuit A cannot communicate with a comms pack on circuit B
Technicians should put their headset on at least 5 mintues before the scheduled start of the performance
At least one of the technicians should keep their headset on during the performance. This would normally be the lighting technician
Please refer to the documentation in the tech box for our show clearence procedure
The clear plastic mic button mutes and unmutes your microphone.
If your microphone is unmuted, the button will turn green and you will be able to hear your microphone in your earpiece.
Please keep your microphone muted if you are not in conversation
The yellow signal button will ring the FOH handset.
It should only be used in an emergency while a performance is in progress as otherwise it would cause a distraction to the audience
If a member of the FOH team wants to speak to you, the signal light on the base station and all comms packs on circuit A will flash briefly - put your headset on to speak to them
