The World Language Department offers a variety of courses that meet the language learning needs of our students.  Our courses are aligned with the ACTFL and NYS World Language standards.  The World Language teachers work to build language proficiency in the different languages and help students to become better communicators.  We support students in the ongoing development of proficiency, from novice through to advanced levels, as well as foster the appreciation of cultural diversity.  Our hope is for our students to become engaged and informed global citizens.
