Description: Running takes your body, mind and spirit to a better place! The simple act of putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward can make you healthier, happier and more confident. The Arrowhead Running Club is designed to build confidence, motivation and a desire to be physically active. Our goal is to develop the enjoyment and understanding of exercise, healthy eating, dynamic stretching and building endurance. We will explore the benefits that exercise has on our mental health, positive self esteem, increased focus and feelings of accomplishment. Whether our participants want to improve their mile time, tackle a 5K, learn the importance of healthy habits or just want to enjoy running with friends, Arrowhead Running Club is a great choice!
Practice will typically be on Wednesdays. However, there may be some weeks that it will be rescheduled due to school closings. A calendar will be distributed with the dates. Running Club begins right after school and pick up is 5:15 PM.
ARC will meet on Wednesday, October 1st for an "informational meeting". At this meeting, we will explore our running courses, share expectations and distribute calendars. Pick up on 10/1 will be at 5:15pm. Permission slips were sent home to grades 3-5. Please due back by Tuesday, 9/30
Based on the number of participants, we may split grade levels into bi-weekly sessions.
