New Instructor Training: Getting Started
Welcome to the Digital Campus on Moodle!
New instructors will participate in a process that consists of two components: self-paced modules and live training sessions.
The live training sessions will provide an opportunity to apply and practice what you have learned in the modules with a Faculty Training Specialist.
This content is intended to provide resources for new instructors who are preparing to teach. As you progress, you will cover a variety of topics and depending on the course/instructor you may choose which modules are most applicable to you.
Note: At the end of this course, you will take a final assessment to evaluate your understanding of the content covered.

This module will introduce you to the Digital Campus, ensure that you are able to login and access everything you need to teach , and show you some of the options you have for updating content in if needed.

Log into the Digital Campus
Navigate the Digital Campus
Add additional supplemental content to and show/hide course content to students if desired.
Check your course and make updates to content to improve if needed.
This module will will help you prepare for live sessions and utilize Zoom features in your digital classroom.

Prepare for your live sessions
Start live sessions in Zoom
Allow students into live sessions
Identify Zoom’s most useful classroom features
This module provides you with a checklist of things to consider and complete before facilitating your first live session. This is a good chance to ensure you have your agenda and materials, access to your classroom, and are ready for your first live session.
