Our new playground officially opened at the start of the 2018-2019 school year. It is a great area for students to have gym classes, outdoor classes, and after school activities.

In 2016, RFK Principal, Tara Mrwik, secured a grant for a multi-million dollar; complete renovation of the school's playground/school yard. The grant helped to provide the school and it's community with a beautiful state-of-the-art space to enjoy many activities. With 3 new basketball hoops, a 75 x 80 turf field, handball court, running track, tennis/volleyball court along with other fun things to do. In addition to all the interactive aspects of the park, the playground is Eco-friendly. There is a living gazebo, numerous trees and two gardens. The playground also is designed to drain rainwater directly into the cities' water table helping to replenish the cities' natural water resources.
