The Scout Group is a Scottish Unincorporated Charity (SC037123) and as such has a Board of Trustees who meet about 5-7 times a year, they guide the overall management of the Group. New members to assist on the board are always welcome.
We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. The meeting usually only lasts an hour, and we usually hold it in May each year. We provide some drinks and food to make a social evening afterwards.
In addition to hearing from Leaders about the highlights of activities during the year, the AGM also receives our annual accounts.
The parents or guardians of all our Beaver, Cub, and Scout Members are invited to the AGM and are encouraged to ask any questions at all about anything to do with the Group.

1st wick Scout Group is run entirely by volunteers and cannot work without you. Maybe you could help as a leader or an occasional helper. Maybe your talents lie in making things run smoothly behind the scenes with administration, fundraising, or maintenance of kit or our building. Whatever skills and time you have, you would be welcome to become part of the Group.
Please contact us at enquiries@1stwickscouts.org or talk to any of our volunteers.
