Uniform

The uniform for Squirrels is a red Squirrels sweatshirt, with the group scarf. For formal occasions, black school trousers/skirt and black shoes must be worn. 

Uniform can be purchased from either the Scout Shop at our District Headquarters, Blindman’s Wood (off Manadon roundabout) - You can also buy them online via the Scout Association shop Scout Shop.  Squirrels sweatshirts are £14.50.

During the warmer weather, Squirrels may prefer to wear a Squirrels polo shirt, available via the Scout Shop.
These are available for £13.

We will provide the group scarf to new members of the Scout Group at a cost £5.00.

Profits from items purchased at Blindman’s Wood are reinvested in local scouting.

Badge positions

Each section leader gives all mandatory uniform badges to the children. However there may be additional non-mandatory badges which are offered to be worn on the uniform for a short period of time, these badges are optional and would normally attract a cost of approx. £1.00.
