Comprehensive training programs designed to master innovative pedagogy and civic engagement
The heart of the TYA Project lies in the continuous professional development of our educators. To bridge the gap between European policy and classroom practice, we have developed a specialized training framework. This ensures that teachers are equipped with the latest tools to inspire the next generation of Youth Ambassadors.
Our courses focus on a "reflective practice" approach, allowing teachers to adapt international standards to their local educational environment while fostering a shared European identity.
The core training for our partner educators consists of two main components:
Online Theoretical Course (44 Hours): A deep dive into the history, values, and institutions of the European Union, alongside modern teaching strategies.
Interactive Practical Lessons (20 Hours): Hands-on workshops focusing on digitalization, sustainable development, and social inclusion in the school system.
Participants in the TYA courses will master:
Innovative Methodologies: Using gamification and digital tools to teach civic responsibility.
Transnational Mentoring: How to guide students through the creation of a European Youth Petition.
Critical Thinking: Strategies to help students navigate information and counter disinformation.
Inclusive Pedagogy: Creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment for diverse student groups.
Upon completion of the training modules, participating teachers receive official recognition. This certification validates their expertise as mentors within the Teachers for Youth Ambassadors network and their commitment to the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet goals.
