The Teachers for Youth Ambassadors (TYA) project is a dynamic transnational initiative funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet action. Bringing together schools and universities from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, and Portugal, the project focuses on bridging the gap between formal education and real-world civic engagement.
Our primary goal is to empower a new generation of "Youth Ambassadors" who are not only informed about how the European Union works but are also capable of leading positive change in their local and international communities.
Capacity Building for Educators: Developing a comprehensive 44-hour online training program and 20 hours of interactive lessons for teachers to master innovative pedagogical methods.
Collaborative Learning: Creating 6 specialized teaching modules that focus on inclusion, digitalization, and sustainability, used by students in mixed transnational groups.
The European Youth Petition: Students will collaborate to draft and discuss a formal petition, which will be presented to EU authorities during a final assembly in Brussels.
Digital Dissemination: All resources, including video lessons and webinars, are maintained as open-access materials to ensure a lasting impact on the European educational landscape.
We believe in a Europe that is inclusive, sustainable, and democratic. Through this project, we foster:
Active Citizenship: Encouraging youth to take a seat at the table where decisions are made.
Intercultural Dialogue: Building bridges between different cultures to strengthen the European identity.
Reflective Practice: Using a continuous feedback loop between teachers and students to adapt and improve learning outcomes.
