HIPAA Security Rule
The HIPAA Security Rule contains the standards that must be applied to safeguard and protect ePHI or personal identifiers. HIPAA compliance breaks down into four main rules that 123 Up And Adam, Inc shall need to address: Privacy, Security, Enforcement, and Breach Notification.
There are three parts to the HIPAA Security Rule – technical safeguards, physical safeguards and administrative safeguards.
