Adidas

Second only to Nike, Adidas has been a force of nature in sports business. Valued at $5 billion today, Adidas has time and again sponsored countless of the world’s biggest sporting events. In fact, it is the official sponsor of the most popular global sporting event of all time – the FIFA World Cup. Reebok, another huge sports company, is a subsidiary of Adidas.

Under Armour

A lot younger than Nike and Adidas, Under Armour has used all the tools technology has to offer to make it to the list of elite brands in sports. It has also carved a name for itself in the very lucrative fitness industry Tyler T. Tysdal notes, and has come to recruit some of the brightest young athletes in the world.
