DEMONSTRATION OPPORTUNITY for non-competitive dancers.

This is an excellent opportunity for those non-competitive dancers to try dancing on stage to see what being a competitive highland dancer feels like.

WOHDA is pleased to present a demonstration opportunity for our non-competitive dancers, dancers who have never competed before. This new event will give dancers an opportunity to try dancing on the competitive stage, but with out the competition aspect.

This will not be a judged or critiqued event. It will consist of Pas de Basques, pas de Basques and Highcuts and a 4-step Fling. Dancers may dance 1 or all 3 of the dances.

Costuming for this event: Kilt(ie) or Tartan skirt, white blouse or solid black top, white knees socks and dancer shoes as worn for dance class (ghillies, ballet shoes, gymastic shoes). Hair to be neatly pulled back from face.

We look forward to offering this event at each of our upcoming pre-premier events. Demonstration event will take place prior to pre-premier awards.

Sign up will be available at the registration desk on the day of the competition.
