The Western Ontario Highland Dancers' Association is a volunteer, not-for profit organization dedicated to:

WOHDA is comprised of an office bearing, executive committee and its members. It is modeled after other similar associations around the world and is closely associated with the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing, British Association of Teachers of Dancing, ScotDance Canada and ScotDance Ontario. 

WOHDA hosts an annual meeting for members each year and the executive meets throughout the year to discuss updates, changes and handle member concerns.

WOHDA HISTORY

The Western Ontario Highland Dance Association (WOHDA) was founded in 1968 by Jenny MacLachlan.  The following document, written by Alison MacLachlan, provides an extensive background into both the life of Jenny MacLachlan as well as the formation of the Western Ontario Highland Dance Association.
