Engineering
The curriculum at Warren Co ATC offers offers courses that are the foundation for various fields of Engineering. This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to design and produce precision parts. Students will have the opportunity to obtain the Autodesk Certification after completion of the program.
Students have the opportunity to earn Autodesk certification, autodesk sets industry skills standards, certifies individual skills against the standards, and accredits training programs that promotes innovative solutions.
Students are members of Skills USA, this organization is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
Courses:
Students earn one credit per course, each course is one quarter in length
Basic Blueprint Reading
Emphasis the reading of basic blueprints and examines actual troubleshooting & solving mechanical and electrical problems
Fundamentals of Machine Tools A
This course provides the basic principles needed for a solid foundation in machine tool
technology. Areas and machines covered include shop safety, bench work, drills press, power saw, measurement, mills and lathes
