Interview:

-Thanks, that you agreed to answer my questions. And... The first question, what was the best thing in your childhood?

-I'm... I had bad memory my childhood, it's was truly not happy...

Why?

-Hm... Then there were a lot of things that influenced my childhood. First, my family has never been rich, and besides they had many children. I was the youngest in my family. We had to work hard and had little food.

About history Uzhur

-Can you describe some points of development of our town?

-Yes, sure. Our town live and developed together with the whole country. Uzhur received the status of the city in 1953, before this year, it was just big village. In this year began the construction of factories, in our region produced meat and dairy products, building materials...

-Military base?

-No, no... was built later. In Uzhur was very big railway junction, was 3 stations, 4-5 building companys. One was engaged in plumbing, another construction of houses, in which your grandfather worked. Also there were companies that were engaged in land reclamation. Until the 1990s, there were many organizations... In the 1990s ours Uzhur... There was a kind of economic stupor, all factories began to close... Now from the large enterprises there was only a bread-baking plant...

-Can you tell about Uzhur in years of war?

-Oh... In the time second world war our town gave much support to the front. So many of our guys were sent there, and did not return from there about 12,000

-Twelve thousand?

-Yes, and this only in Uzhur region, imagine how much it was in the all country! It was a terrible time...

-Okey, what was our city in soviet times?

-Heh.. It was not bad time, in this time were no traffic problems, everywhere there were workplaces, and the pioneers were singing "Light up the bonfires of the blue nights". At that time our city was actively growing. I can not answer anything concrete, because the Soviet time is a rather long period...

-Okee, there is a difference between that time and now, it is in the city?

-Of course! First, the population decreased in our city from 50 000 to 25 000, this large outflow of population was due to the closure of factories

-Heh... It's like in Detroit. Thanks for interview!

-It's my pleasure!

How do grandmothers influence us?

Without grandmothers, our life would be completely different! How much they do for us all! They educate, give advice, teach new things. The truth is sometimes we do not listen to their advice and sometimes get into trouble. Our dear grandmothers treat us with respect, but with caution

My opinion

I have a grandmother and great-grandmother, one tells about the war years and passed my own, pomykaya me that I'm so lazy. The second taught me responsibility (which I do not use: D) and mindfulness to detail, without them I would have seen the world quite differently! I can say with confidence that they are making a road for us in the future!
