Keynote Speaker: Holly Clark

Meet Holly, a passionate educator and digital learning pioneer who has made significant contributions to the field of educational technology. With over 25 years of experience, Holly is an international speaker, bestselling author, and dedicated advocate for digital learning.  She was one of the first teachers in the nation to have a 1:1 classroom and she now shares her knowledge and insights to help other teachers tap into their blended learning genius. 

Keynote Performer: Arne Eigenfeldt

Dr. Arne Eigenfeldt is a composer of live electroacoustic music, and a researcher into intelligent generative music systems. His music has been performed around the world, and his collaborations range from Persian Tar masters to free improvisers to contemporary dance companies to musical robots. He has presented his research at major conferences and festivals, and published over 50 peer-reviewed papers on his research and collaborations. He is a professor of music and technology at Simon Fraser University.


Keynote Performer: Andrew Stewart

Dr. D. Andrew Stewart (Associate Professor of Music and Digital Audio Arts, ULethbridge) is a digital musical instrumentalist exploring performative gestures with new interfaces for musical expression. Stewart has assembled a team of live coders for Coding at the Centre of Musical Play. David Ogborn (Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Media Arts, McMasterU) is an artist programmer and interdisciplinary researcher, and leads the development of the Estuary platform for collaborative live coding. Barry Wan (Ph.D. candidate, Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem) is a Hong Kongese composer and media artist based in The Czech Republic. Tareq Abu-Rahma (Master of Music graduate student, ULethbridge) is a Palestinian Visual Arts Designer currently completing graduate studies in Canada.
