The IMB is located on the University of Bordeaux campus in the city of Talence.

• From Bordeaux Saint-Jean SNCF railway station, take the C line of the tramway to Quinconces then Line B (direction Pessac centre) to the Forum stop, or take the line 10 at the Gare St Jean stop towards Gradignan Beausoleil and get off at the Peixotto stop in Talence.
• From Bordeaux Mérignac airport, a shuttle bus runs every 45 minutes during the day (check the schedules and fares). Take the shuttle bus until the stop "Office de Tourisme /12 cours du 30 Juillet", then take the tramway Line B on the Place des Quinconces (direction Pessac center) until the Forum stop. You can also take a taxi (about 40€ for a single trip).
• By car:
  1. From the North (Paris, Nantes, A10...), take the East ring road towards Toulouse (exit 1), then exit 16 (Talence, Domaine Universitaire). Continue on the "Cours de la Liberation" until no. 351 (to the left after the Casino shopping centre, in front of the park of the town hall of Talence).
  2. From the South-East (Toulouse), take the ring road towards Bayonne, then exit 16 (Talence, Domaine Universitaire). Continue on the course of the Liberation until no. 351 (to the left after the Casino shopping centre, in front of the park of the town hall of Talence).
  3. From the South (Bayonne), take the ring road towards Toulouse, Paris, then exit 16 (Talence, Domaine Universitaire). Turn left to pass over the ring road. Continue on the course of the Liberation until no. 351 (to the left after the Casino shopping centre, in front of the park of the town hall of Talence).
