Bronze Group

Developmental phase: Swimmer ready to begin mastering the basics of competitive swimming

Training Goals: Building all 4 strokes, intro to drill progressions, clock reading, set pattern

recognition, FUN

Training Workouts: 2 days/week

Competition Focus: To race 100 IM and 100 Free legally

Silver Group

Developmental phase: More proficient swimmer with competitive experience ready to master

distances and improve personal best times, FUN

Training Goals: Drill progressions, interval training, racing in training, building race strategies,

FUN

Training Workouts: 3 days/week minimum to max of 4 days/week

Competition Focus: To race 200 IM, 200 Free and 100s of each stroke confidently and

efficiently

Gold Group

Developmental phase: Consistently competitive swimmer with focus on building strategies,

increasing stroke efficiency and setting goals for next level of competition, FUN

Training Goals: Training for high school event schedule, 400 IM and 500 Free focus, building

race strategies, focusing on power/efficiency, individual plans based on goals, making good

choices daily, leading the team, FUN

Training Workouts: 4 days/week minimum with 6 days max

Competition Focus: To race all HS events confidently, with any other events athlete chooses,

confidence in ALL events, with focus on qualifying for championship meets.
