Zohaib Mohammad is working as a Research Fellow at Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision (PAVIS), Center for Human Technologies (CHT), Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Genova Italy. He has completed his PhD from the same lab (PAVIS), where he worked on Spatial AI - more precisely, he has developed fully-/self-supervised approaches to estimate 3D keypoints from single-view RGB images and from point cloud data (PCDs). Moreover, he has utilized the estimated keypoints for; 1) relative pose estimation between two objects, 2) shape alignment, and 3) finding an object's pose for 3D reconstruction from images. 

His Master's degree is in Mechatronics and Control Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore Pakistan. The title of his M.Sc. thesis is Dynamic SLAM with Object Detection and Tracking. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Islamabad Pakistan. Where he designed an algorithm for the autonomous control of a four-wheel robot by considering the environmental constraints. His research has been published in different impact factor journals and international conferences. He has been honored with a research productivity award and scholarships at different levels. His area of research includes Computer Vision, Deep learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Robotics, Path Planning, Embedded & Control Systems, Robotics & Automation, Kinematic Modeling, Algorithm Designing, etc. 

He has served the University of Central Punjab (UCP) as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science (CS), Faculty of Information Technology, Lahore Pakistan, from June 2016 to Feb 2019. His teaching interest includes; Introduction to Computing (ITC), Programming Fundamental (PF), Object-Oriented Paradigms (OOP), Data Structure and Algorithms (DSA), Digital Logic Design (DLD), Embedded Systems (ES), and Computer Organization and Assembly Language (COAL), Operating Systems (OS). 

Tools: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Robot Operating System (ROS), Gazebo/V-Rep, Python, C/C++, Point Cloud Library (PCL), OpenCV, Matlab, ANSYS etc.
