Inclusive Pedagogy

The nature of this activity provides multiple modes of meaning making and production. Thinglink allows for multimodal texts such as images, videos, audio recordings, web links, and other design elements that guide the reader. Non-verbal students can make strong connections using picture maps and internet links. Students struggling with traditional writing can create videos, audio recordings and other digital media representations. The technology does require some degree of technical competence and some students will benefit from guided teaching with skilled educators.
